Founded in 2017,</strong><strong>&nbsp;we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.</strong></p> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div></div><p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Material Flow Specialist will facilitate the efficient movement of materials to support production, enable the efficient receipt of raw materials, and prepare the shipment of finished goods. Material Flow Specialists will act as an example for safety and operational excellence.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This section outlines the primary duties and responsibilities of the role. It includes 5–7 bullet points describing the key tasks and activities the employee is expected to perform as part of their day-to-day work.&nbsp;</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Adhering to a culture of safety compliance, especially as it pertains to material handling equipment </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Safe handling of volatile battery materials in accordance with established procedures and safety protocols </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Safe operation of material handling equipment, including powered industrial trucks and other mechanical aids </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Supporting the operations team in preparing and staging material feed for production </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Coordinating with the supervisor on task distribution </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Performing work within discrete workstreams such as receiving, inventory control, or loading activities </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Picking and loading inventory needed for production areas </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Managing data and transactions within a Warehouse Management System and creating reports to support management decision making </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Establishing and modeling quality control mechanisms </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Completing physical tasks as directed, including but not limited to pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, reaching, etc. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintaining a clean and orderly work area </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Managing the internal flow of material to support production requirements </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Receiving inbound shipments from suppliers of raw materials, maintenance parts, and engineering equipment </span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Participating in physical inventory audits, cycle counts, etc. to ensure inventory accuracy</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Supporting the development and implementation of material flow strategies to improve operational efficiency </span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Operating PIT equipment, including but not limited to reach truck and forklift</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This section is used to provide 5-7 bullets describing the key experience, skills, and abilities required to perform the job duties listed above.
