Cleaner 4

Entry Level Facilities Cleaning Position. Hours are 3:00 am-11:00 am. The shift will be Tuesday-Saturday. Purpose and role of job: Responsible for cleaning assigned areas on the McElhattan Campus. Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities: • Observes all safety rules and uses proper safety equipment at all times. • Perform janitorial services in designated areas of the facility including:  offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, etc. • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, windows, trash, stocking, etc. • Fill in for call-offs, vacations, etc (including the need to work alternate days/hours, etc.). • When necessary, perform duties outside the scope of the routine responsibility list (in the interest of maintaining our cleaning standard).  Be accountable for the area assigned Education and experience requirements: • Mechanically inclined • Must have a high level of initiative, and attention to detail • Must be able to work in a flexible, team oriented environment • Possess interpersonal skills • High School diploma or equivalent required • Prior industrial cleaning experience preferred Work Environment: • Work environment exposed to dust Physical Requirements: • Constant walking/standing throughout 8 hour shift • Occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching overhead during shift • Occasional pushing or pulling with the legs and frequent pushing or pulling with the arms throughout shift • Frequent lifting or carrying of 10 lbs or less with occasional lifting or carrying of 11-50 lbs • Frequent repetitive use of hands during the workday • Frequent simple/light grasping and occasional firm/strong grasping throughout the day First Quality is committed to protecting information under the care of First Quality Enterprises commensurate with leading industry standards and applicable regulations.  As such, First Quality provides at least annual training regarding data privacy and security to employees who, as a result of their role specifications, may come in to contact with sensitive data.
