A vital member of the Continuous Improvement Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.</p> <div class="mb-4 break-words font-normal leading-7 text-inherit last:mb-0 [li_&amp;]:mb-0"><strong class="font-semibold">Job responsibilities include:</strong></div> <ul class="ml-4 list-outside list-disc"> <li class="py-0.5">Value Stream Mapping processes, time studies, leading Kaizen events, creating Standard Work, audits/Gemba Walks, develop: PFD, FMEA, Control Plan, and Job Element Sheets, conducting root cause analysis using 5-Why, Cause and Effect Diagram, A3 tools, New Product Introduction (NPI) validation, creating test validation plans, Gauge Studies, and perform statistical analysis.</li> <li class="py-0.5">Identify and eliminate WASTE through lean manufacturing principles; leading continuous improvement initiatives that drive measurable operational efficiencies across the facility.</li> <li class="py-0.5">Create and maintain preventive maintenance checklists and schedules to ensure equipment reliability and uptime; document and evolve equipment troubleshooting guides to support frontline problem resolution.</li> <li class="py-0.5">Develop training documents and maintain the training matrix to ensure workforce competency, standardization and compliance across all applicable roles.</li> <li class="py-0.5">Assist with AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) reports, supporting capital project justification and process improvement investments.</li> <li class="py-0.5">Use voice of the customer information to drive decision making; strong understanding of problem-solving tools (5-Why, Logic Tree, Cause and Effect Diagram, A3, etc.) to determine root cause analysis and develop countermeasures.</li> <li class="py-0.5">Resolve a wide range of issues creatively; ability to solve straightforward problems with a solid understanding of lean principles, quality systems, statistical tools and procedures; understands key business drivers to accomplish own work.</li> <li class="py-0.5">Conduct audits, write audit reports, distribute reports, follow up on non-conformances; create, manage and distribute Quality Alerts.</li> <li class="py-0.5">Function as the Quality Assurance representative for the review and approval of CAPAs, Deviations, MDRs, Validations and QWC; implement and maintain the effectiveness of the Quality System.</li> <li class="py-0.5">Support the creation of quality documents for new product launches; conduct inspections, testing and analysis to ensure product quality and compliance with OBE and industry standards.</li> <li class="py-0.5">Respond to and follow up on customer complaints.</li> </ul> <h3 class="mb-1 mt-4 break-words text-lg font-semibold">What We Are Looking For</h3> <ul class="ml-4 list-outside list-disc"> <li class="py-0.5">Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, mechanical, manufacturing, chemical engineering, industrial engineering)</li> <li class="py-0.5">Minimum of 3 years' experience and knowledge in Toyota Production Systems, mechanical and/or manufacturing processes, an understanding of drawings, specifications and standards, familiarity with machined parts and their manufacturing processes, and a background in continuous improvement; ISO-9000 and/or TS-16949 Quality System experience beneficial</li> <li class="py-0.5">Demonstrates a working understanding of general business principles</li> <li class="py-0.5">CQE, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience preferred; Quality Engineer certification through ASQ preferred</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Position Pay Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$73,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$85,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>What OBE&nbsp;Offers You</strong></p> <ul> <li>Benefits that benefit you – industry competitive&nbsp;<a href="[link in the portal] target="_blank">benefits</a>&nbsp;at the lowest cost to the employee</li> <li>Work-life balance – PTO and holidays, including floating holidays you can choose</li> <li>Compensation that rewards your hard work – A pay-for-performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonuses</li> <li>Training – We will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed</li> </ul> <p><a href="[link in the portal] Privacy Policy</a></p> <p>OBE will not discharge or discriminate against employees or applicants for discussing, disclosing, or inquiring about their own or others' pay.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div>
