You can see some of our favorite projects&nbsp;<a class="" href="[link in the portal] target="_blank">here</a>.</p> <p>Start your journey with OBE and help us build the future.</p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;<strong>About the Position</strong></p> <p>Prepares work to be accomplished by studying fabrication instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.</p> <p>Starting pay is $22 per hour.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Requires drilling holes, and prep materials according to work orders, fabrication sheets, and<br>schedules</li> <li>Completing daily work orders, parts inspection, calculations, and measurement of parts sizes,<br>placement, and work inspection</li> <li>Ensure parts are fabricated according to prints, worksheets, and or shop drawings</li> <li>Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and subassemblies</li> <li>Resolves fabrication problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to<br>obtain additional resources</li> <li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.</li> <li>Must be able to move up to 40 pounds at a time.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualification Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Able to take measurements by using a standard measuring tape</li> <li>Basic understanding of the English language preferred</li> <li>Able to read and understand work instructions</li> <li>Able to use tools such as air power tools, hand tools, drills, small hammers, adhesives, and solvents</li> <li>Ability to read, interpret and understand fabrication blueprint drawings</li> </ul> <p><strong>Safety</strong></p> <ul> <li>Safety Equipment – Hard hat, back belt, safety glasses, steel toe shoes/boots, cut-resistant gloves, cut-resistant outerwear, and other equipment as dictated by the specific department</li> <li>Follow and adhere to all safety rules in the plant.</li> <li>Hazards - Exposure to Chemicals/Fumes, Pinch Points, Exposure to Excessive Noise, Strain/Sprain, Laceration/Puncture, Particulate Exposure, Contusion, Hot temperatures, Slips and Falls</li> <li>Controls - Personal Protective Equipment, Safety Training, Written Procedures</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>What OBE&nbsp;Offers You</strong></p> <ul> <li>Benefits that benefit you – industry competitive&nbsp;<a href="[link in the portal] target="_blank">benefits</a>&nbsp;at the lowest cost to the employee</li> <li>Work-life balance – PTO and holidays, including floating holidays you can choose</li> <li>Compensation that rewards your hard work – A pay-for-performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonuses</li> <li>Training – We will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed</li> </ul> <p><a href="[link in the portal] Privacy Policy</a></p> <p>OBE will not discharge or discriminate against employees or applicants for discussing, disclosing, or inquiring about their own or others' pay.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div>
