Job Description Summary: We are seeking a candidate for the Driver Assistant position. This role will assist the truck drivers with logistics. The ideal candidate will be able to drive a company truck to take supplies to farms. The assistant must have a valid driver's license and the ability to lift over 75 pounds. Job Description: • Assist with loading and unloading the trailer as necessary • Ensure secure load before movement • Clean and wash truck as necessary • Report truck and equipment maintenance issues to supervisors • All other duties as assigned Job Qualifications: • Minimum 18 years of age • Ability to read and write legibly • Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate • Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character • High School Diploma or equivalent • Basic math functions and skills • Follow State and Federal laws, and company safety and biosecurity policies and programs • Work in outside environment (including inclement weather) on a daily basis • Lift up to 75 lbs • Work around raw, live animal odors Benefits: Aviagen USA provides a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the healthcare and financial well-being of our employees.
