Job description

Position Summary The File Maintenance (FMC) Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all pricing, signage, and promotional execution throughout the store are accurate, timely, and compliant with company standards. This role leads file maintenance operations, supports pricing integrity, and supervises associates to maintain consistency between systems and in-store execution. Key Responsibilities Pricing & Signage Execution • Oversee all price changes, ensuring accuracy between shelf, POS, and system pricing • Ensure all weekly ad signage, promotional signs, and price tags are properly printed, placed, and removed on schedule • Conduct regular audits to maintain pricing integrity and compliance • Resolve pricing discrepancies quickly and accurately Operational Execution • Manage daily FMC tasks including batch processing, tag generation, and system updates • Ensure completion of all pricing-related deadlines (ad change, resets, and updates) • Maintain organized file room operations and supplies • Partner with department managers to ensure accurate signage and pricing in each department Team Leadership & Development • Supervise, train, and support file maintenance clerks • Assign daily tasks and ensure workload is completed efficiently • Provide coaching, feedback, and accountability for performance • Promote a detail-oriented and process-driven team environment Compliance & Accuracy • Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and legal requirements • Maintain audit readiness at all times (weights & measures, internal audits, etc.) • Support store leadership during pricing audits and inspections • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of pricing systems and data Store Support & Communication • Act as the primary point of contact for pricing issues within the store • Communicate effectively with store leadership and department teams regarding pricing updates and issues • Support store operations during ad transitions and seasonal changes Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required • Previous retail or grocery experience preferred • File maintenance, pricing, or administrative experience preferred • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Basic computer and data entry skills required • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Physical Requirements • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the store for extended periods • Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30 lbs • Repetitive use of hands for tagging and data entry Key Competencies • Attention to Detail & Accuracy • Organization & Time Management • Leadership & Accountability • Problem Solving • Communication Skills • Process Execution
