How you’ll make an impact in this role
• Orchestrate critical medical staff events by scheduling, coordinating, and championing key committee meetings and conferences that drive our credentialing activities forward.
• Serve as a trusted departmental ambassador to manage external and internal communications, seamlessly verifying hospital privileges, residencies, and fellowships while managing medical staff dues.
• Safeguard data integrity across all systems and databases, maintaining the high-quality records and comprehensive physician credentialing files essential for compliance and swift troubleshooting.
• Optimize physician-payer alignment by designing, updating, and distributing enrollment matrices while proactively notifying contracted payers of physician updates to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Education:
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education OR experience, if applicable.
What additional preferences we're seeking
• Our core hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with the ability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate essential medical staff meetings scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
• Proven work experience in a healthcare or medical staff environment.
